Field Of Scales

Surrounding the Bloody Heart is the Field of Scales. This is not an accurate name since the tree growth in this area precludes the existence of a field, per se. This site has received its name from the hundreds of dragon skeletons here. Many of these skeletons are often mistaken for downed trees. According to some legends, the Named Green One named Jaeggertooth Redspine is buried near the center of the Field. Over time, this place became an official burial ground for dragons across Drm. Needless to say, the Field of Scales is a very magical place that lesser creatures find unsettling. It is generally considered bad luck to the people of Worm’s Wood to rest in this area at night and it is considered maddened blasphemy to take any of the bones or gold still found here.
